The trip starts with a visit to the capital city of the region: Turin, the historical capital of the Kingdom of Savoy. The city hosts the Museo Egizio, the second in the world after Cairo’s, that displays sarcophagi, mummies, vases, statues, weapons, tools, papyruses and paintings that document the various aspects of the Egyptian civilization.
The visit continues in the Langhe area, in Alba, the city with a hundred towers, with its medieval centre and its many forts, towers and Romanesque-Gothic monuments, such as the imposing Duomo, the Church of San Domenico and the Church of Saint John the Baptist.
Moving on, you will visit the wine region and stop and taste some of the best local wines.
