Discovering Sicily’s special locations
This trip will lead you to discover Sicily’s special places that exude the history and culture of this region.
Starting from Agrigento, the “Cradle of Magna Graecia”, where every year thousands of tourists come to see the “Valley of the Temples” and the ruins of Akragas, defined by Pindar as the “most beautiful of mortal cities”, surrounded by hundreds of almond trees. The Kolymbethra Garden, an archaeological site of great natural and landscaping significance, is located in a small valley within the Valley of the Temples.

Visits will lead you to Palermo, one of Sicily’s most beautiful cities, located in a large bay at the feet of Mount Pellegrino. Originally a Phoenician colony, due to its favourable position it was later contended by Greeks and Carthaginians. Palermo has many Arab-Norman, Renaissance and Baroque architectural features, such as the Cathedral and the Royal Palace that hosts the precious Palatine Chapel.
